Safety regulations approved by the Ministry of Education

In August 2024, a new decree came into effect designating Karate as an amateur combat sport. Only a federation of sports organizations with safety regulations approved by the Minister of Sport, Recreation and Outdoor Activities, in accordance with the Act respecting safety in recreation and sports (CQLR, c. S-3.1), may practice Karate in Quebec.

 

In accordance with the requirements of the ministry, this safety regulation must be respected by all our members, without exception.
