Shihan Camille Ohan began his training camps in 1984 in the Laurentians and maintained these until 1998, when he decided due to personal interests to promote Dojo Ki Arts Martiaux directed in the Gaspe by the Vallee Family.

It was at "l'Echouerie", the Community Center for Young People in Ste. Anne des Monts, that the first training camp of the FKCO took place and established quality training at a competitve price.

The training periods were very much appreciated by the karatekas as they were able to train on the beach in ideal temperatures. An assortment of courses and training took place during the entire time of the camp. The participants were impressed with the service, the accomadation, the food and the transportation provided.

Shihan Camille Ohan forsees doubling and tripling the number of participants in 1999.
