The evening was carried on in a light-hearted fun manner. It was the athletes themselves after all who were responsible for the entertainment. We were amused with a "talk-show" performed by Alexandre Bardoux and a variety of "lip-synch" and "body expressions" given by our karatekas. Although the shows performed were very entertaining, everyone could see that within these performers were true athletes.

Kevin QuirionDavid RicciIn addition to the entrance prize, there were other  worthwhile activities that were organized. Kevin Quirion and David Ricci generously contributed themselves to be pie-splattered in the face. As well, there was a mini-casino animated by Richard Labonté.

In the middle of the  evening Shihan Camille Ohan Diane Leroux Singing National Anthem, Athletes in background officially presented Athletes parading with flags the athletes who were to participate in the competition to be help October 15 in New York.  He introduced them one-by-one with a short synopsis and offered them a commemorative FKCO t-shirt especially prepared for this exceptional event.   After Shihan's speech, the ten athletes paraded throughout the hall with applause and encouragement from all who were present.

Although we did not reach our goal, we can however say that the feast was a success considering that is was organized a little late.  We should tip our hats and thank all the people who contributed their time and efforts to raise these funds. We can especially thank all who came to eat (all-you-can-eat) spaghetti with home made sauce, in order to encourage the team that represents the FKCO in New York.
