FKCO STRIKES AT COLLÈGE LAVAL

The 17th of March, 2002 was a memorable day for all who participated at the Bo-Jo seminar. From white belt to black belt, this seminar applied to all karatekas from ages 7 and up. Men, women, and children from all affiliated schools reunited, and made this a successful day because of their efforts.

All the directors demonstrated their commitment in the "ultimate truth association" by their active presence, and willingness to help. Approximately 135 participants experimented with the Bo-Jo and its maneuvers; both individually, and with a partner, each action demanding a good comprehension.

Each demonstration captivated a visual attention for all participants. The average duration to practice each new movement was about 15 minutes.

During the course of the day, several striking methods were discovered. The objective of this seminar was to grasp an understanding of blocs through the manipulation of these hand tools. All the participants displayed their effort and courage while handling the Bo-Jo. These exercises also served to reinforce your joints and muscles and, a very important principal, to remain attentive to details.

This day finished with the recognition of the directors of the affiliated schools and their assistants, the handing-over of the certificates to the students who participated in the Bo-Jo seminar, and taking souvenir photographs.

Many thanks to all our friends who helped to make this event happen, to the karatekas who came afar to participate, and to the parents who allowed their young children to participate in this new type of training.

I am proud of your commitment and your devotion.
